Cake smash in darlington

Although cake smashes are usually for babies first birthday. I offer a cake smash for any age. Even the family pet!

Smash sessions start with a portrait to honour that birthday. Then goes on to the fun part of smashing the cake.

Capturing the moments from approaching with caution to face planting the cake. To trying hard to lick it off their nose, followed by some bubbles!!!

For children this would be in a bath tub full of bubbles and playing with bubbles in the air.

For adults we get some bubbly in! Then enjoying the cake with a glass of bubbly!

For pets it’s time to catch the bubbles in the air.

Which ever session it is, it ends up messy!

There are plenty of alternatives if cake isn’t a hit. Such as jelly, spaghetti, ice cream, fruit, water melon and of course doughnuts!
First birthdays aren’t remembered by the baby but smash sessions are an amazing way to show them what they got up to when they are old enough.

I highly recommend booking with her for a photoshoot for any occasion!

I have used pippa for a newborn, Easter, Christmas and 1st birthday photoshoot now, and everytime I am blown away at the gorgeous photos she produces of my daughter! When you are ready to book, we can secure your session with a £50 non-refundable booking fee.

This does not include any images or products.

About a week later I will welcome you back to my studio in Darlington to view your beautiful gallery of edited images and choose your image collection.

Payment for your chosen images is due on the day of the session.

If you would like to do a payment plan Pay, 25% deposit of your order on the viewing day then either pay monthly or weekly up to the total of 3 months. (Payment plans are for orders over £299)

About your Cake Smash Session in darlington

With all smash sessions I provide the cake or the alternative you have chosen.

I work with a local professional, cake maker called Zoe’s pop cakes she makes all the amazing themed cakes.

When booking we will discuss what messy thing you would like for the smash. Then we can choose the theme to go with it. We have many themes to chose from.

Even if you have a different customer made theme in mind, this can still be accommodated with advance booking.

Although I do my best to capture everything from the day, it will depend on the baby’s mood on the day as nothing is guaranteed. The session can always be rescheduled if needed.

The best time to book a smash is avoiding nap time or feeding time. You know when your child is happiest in the day.

Although smash sessions are usually for birthdays it doesn’t have to be. If you are hoping for the images to be back in time for the birthday. Please book a month before to include time for processing.

Bringing siblings to the session, often distracts from the birthday child. It’s completely up to you if you would like them to come along.

As this session is messy, no matter the age, please bring a spare set of clothes for yourself as well, I might need your help. Contact us to book your Cake Smash session Darlington.
